The first part of a mini series focused on how you and your music are seen, found and followed.

The three sessions on branding, marketing and PR respectively will be led by Adam Lindsay, a senior publicist, currently working for entertainment marketing and publicity agency, beehive.

What does developing an artist brand mean? How do you work out what your brand is? And then what do you do with it?

In this session, Lucy Perrett, Head of Creative and Brand Partnerships at Positive Feedback, will share intel on memorable and authentic music branding that you can use to create or refine how you and your music are seen.

This will include how to shape your identity across different platforms and how emerging artists can think about brand partnerships.

Lucy Perrett is the Head of Creative & Brand Partnerships at Positive Feedback, with over a decade of experience in music branding, creative production, and artist marketing. She has worked with artists like Confidence Man, Jack River, and Lime Cordiale, connecting them with brands such as Wrangler Australia, Miista, and Blundstone. Lucy has also shaped branding and marketing strategies for artists at Original Matters, including Dean Lewis, Angus & Julia Stone, Lisa Mitchell, and Alex The Astronaut.

Adam Lindsay is a senior publicist, currently working for entertainment marketing and publicity agency, beehive. Currently based in Newcastle, Adam has worked on campaigns for artists such as The Amity Affliction, Anberlin, Belle and Sebastian, George Clinton, Frank Turner, Sam Fischer, South Summit, The Belair Lip Bombs, The Wonder Years, Yellowcard & Ziggy Alberts; and has also worked with comedians such as Maria Bamford, Anna Akana, Jen Brister and Amy Hetherington. Outside of PR, Adam cut his teeth in the music industry playing in bands such as Split Feed and Dead Mall, and is the co-host of the Record Royale Podcast.
