Panel and networking
// 6.30pm: Collaboration in music with Annabel Blackman, Harrison Hall, Kaylene Milner and Lindsay McDougall
// 7.30pm: Wollongong music scene networking opportunity
Wollongong is brimming with artists, venues, promoters and others across the industry doing incredible work to build the local scene and share it with the world. This is work rarely done alone - instead it is made possible through collaboration and the combined creativity, skills and networks of the people involved. So, how do you get a collab going? What makes a good partnership tick? And what happens when things go awry?
From 6.30pm, join the panel facilitated by ABC radio host Lindsay McDougall to hear from locals with collaboration at their core:
- Body Type’s Annabel Blackman, which counts the likes of Pixies, Fontaines D.C, Sleater-Kinney, Wolf Alice, Foo Fighters, King Gizz and Pond amongst their gig highlights
- Purveyor of good times Harrison Hall, the man behind Holy Pavlova, Port Kembla Festival, Bloomfield Festival and many more
- Founder of WAH-WAH, Kaylene Milner, who has collaborated with local artists and bands like Sonic Youth, Amyl & the Sniffers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs to produce punk-rock knitwear
Then, from 7.30pm, you’ll have the opportunity to put their advice into action through a networking session. This will be an opportunity to meet MusicNSW Wollongong Coordinator Cody Munro Moore, and artists and industry professionals from across Wollongong’s music scene - who knows what new and exciting projects could be born over a drink and a snack?
Annabel Blackman

Formed in 2015, Body Type includes members Sophie McComish, Georgia Wilkinson-Derums, and Cecil Coleman. They have released two EPs, Body Type (2018) and EP2 (2019), and their debut album, Everything Is Dangerous but Nothing's Surprising, in May 2022. Harrison Hall
Holy Pavlova / Port Kembla Festival / Bloomfield Festival
Harrison Hall is the founder and director of Holy Pavlova, an event production and booking agency proudly based in Wollongong. He prides himself on pushing creative boundaries and connecting with audiences through weekly venue bookings, multi-venue festivals, pop-up events, artist management and brand activations. Harrison also curates several major events including Port Kembla Festival and Bloomfield Festival, in addition to working with councils, business chambers and private clients to manage live music projects. Collaboration and developing positive relationships have been the keystones for success in his ventures.
Kaylene Milner
WAH-WAH / Loose Fit
WAH-WAH is a one-woman fashion label and art project by designer and musician Kaylene Milner, based on Dharawal land. Inspired by a photo of musician J Mascis wearing a Deep Wound band sweater knitted by his mother, Kaylene founded WAH-WAH to merge her love for alternative music, underground comics and contemporary art with her passion for knitwear. WAH-WAH has collaborated with artists, musicians, and activists worldwide, creating a unique blend of pop culture and wearable art that’s bright, loud, and proudly tongue-in-cheek. Part fashion label, part art curation, part activism — WAH-WAH is about more than just knitwear: it’s about creating sustainably produced wearable art that will be cherished for a lifetime.
