Submissions for artists and film makers for South By Southwest 2016 have officially opened and there is now a really handy Facebook group for interested parties and professionals.
The aim of the group is for general networking in advance of SXSW Delegate Registrations which open August 3. SXSW Movie Meet ‘n’ Greets happen on July 14 – networking drinks kick off at 5:30 pm, a panel of seasoned local veterans and industry experts will share their tips and tricks. This will be followed by the screening of “Outside Industry”, a 90 min film on the evolution and excitement of SXSW. Bands, performing artists, managers, agents, promoters, distributors, music technology companies, media and more are encouraged to attend.
