FBi Social recently announced their closure, and it’s just been revealed that their replacement is called The Bandroom, which launched over the weekend with performances from Spookyland, Tim Fitz, Mammals and more.
The Bandroom has announced that Setec, Moon Holiday, Sunbeam Sound Machine and Lower Spectrum will be playing at the venue over the coming weeks.
The new space will focus primarily on emerging artists from Sydney, which aligns with the focus venue has held for a while.
“Before, the room was mainly used on Friday and Saturday nights so we thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to help nurture local talent by working with local music schools and organisations to allow their students to perform in our incredible space,” said King’s Cross Hotel’s Elliot Solomon.
