Sydney-based independent label R.I.P Society are turning 5, and to celebrate their birthday they are presenting an incredible showcase of DIY/garage/electronic/left-of-field artists at Vivid LIVE on May 24.
Label founder Nic Warnock (who holds the fort at Repressed Records in Newtown, and was a co-director for our festival project Sound Summit last year) has been a passionate advocator for Sydney’s underground/DIY music scene. RIP Society was public-voted for the ‘Best Independent Record Label’ award from Mess & Noise in 2011.
