Indent — The hub for all-ages entertainment in New South Wales — is offering a total of $110,000 in grants for young people to stage all-age, drug and alcohol free entertainment across the state.
Young people can apply for up to $2500 to help organise their dream gig(s) and get some event management experience at the same time.Those interested need to follow these 3 simple steps:
1. Get together with a team of at least six people (aged 12-25) and come up with some ideas for a maximum of 4 events throughout the 2007
calendar year.
2. Talk to a support organisation such as Council, PCYC or community centre — They should be able to help out with the admin and insurance side of things. If you’re stuck, contact your Council’s youth development officer.
3. Jump to the Indent website — www.indent.net.au to download the Partnership Grant application form. Applications need to be handed in by Tuesday 30 October.
Successful applicants will be notified on Monday 4 December and will be eligible for a free Indent event management and music industry workshop in the lead-up to their event(s).
