Applications are now open for artists wishing to play at 2014 Folk by the Sea. Applications close 30 March. The festival is a replacement for the previous Folk in the Foothills which was held at the Jamberoo Valley Lodge.
Folk by the Sea is presented by volunteers the Illawarra Folk Club, a non-profit incorporated association. Many of these volunteers are performers themselves and are providing their effort to promote folk music.
Folk by the Sea will be happening in September at Kiama Showground Pavilion and Hindmarsh Park in Kiama, and will be aiming to showcase 15 to 20 acts a day. To submit an expression of interest, head here.
