Tickets are now on sale for Melbourne’s contemporary music conference Face The Music 2013, which will be held over two days at the Arts Centre Melbourne between November 15th – 16th.
The festival will be announcing their big list of 150 high profile international and national speakers on September 11, from all fields including management, events, recordings, labels, media and performance. Panels will cover a range interesting topics such as effective artist management tips, marketing and release strategies, booking gigs, good recording techniques and loads more. This year Face the Music will also be partnering with the Art Centre Melbourne’s Digital Learning Hub to expand their range of workshops and masterclasses. There will be workshops on song and beat making, media technology and more.
So far the speakers confirmed for the conference this year include ARIA’s Dan Rosen, Jess Beston of Tiny Monster, Australian enterpreneur Bruce Milne, performer Cash Savage, John Watson of Eleven / John Watson Management, Sophie Miles of Mistletone Records, Peter Karpin of Universal Music Australia, Kim Carter of Rockstar Management, Dr Ianto Ware of National Live Music Office, Darren Levins of Faster Louder . Mess and Noise, Marcus Teague of The Vine, Tim Morrison of Trial Kennedy, Nic Warnock of RIP Society / Repressed Records, Marcus Popp of Oval (Germany – oh, and Oval is also playing at Sound Summit Festival 2013!) and Ross Knight from Cosmic Psychos.
