Following the news that HMV went into administration last month, it has now been revealed that these appointed administrators will be responsible for ‘restructuring’ the music company, beginning with the shutting down of between 60-100 stores across country.
The Telegraph has predicted this will result in the loss of approx. 1500 jobs.
Music giants Sony Entertainment, Warner and Universal only recently came up with a’rescue package’ for HMV which included a vow to discount CDS and DVDS plus provide HMV with liberal credit terms.
