Recently, there have been several staffing changes at MusicNSW which we are pleased to announce.
Firstly, after 3 years of fantastic work, Eliza Sarlos has left MusicNSW to pursue new and exciting career developments. Eliza has recently been announced as the Creative Director of the Underbelly Arts Festival, and we wish her all the best of luck in this exciting new role.
Taking over as Executive Officer is Kirsty Brown, who recently assisted Eliza Sarlos in the Executive Officer role while on maternity leave since August 2011. Kirsty is the former Managing Editor of street press The Brag, which she called home for 4 years before heading off to co-direct the Sound Summit festival, working on the Flickerfest International Short Film Festival and recently, with Museums & Galleries NSW.
Meg Williams, the Project Manager of Indent and long serving MusicNSW team member, has recently been appointed as the new Executive Director of The Association of Artist Managers [AAM] effective immediately and replacing Nicole Brant-Zawadzki (aka Nicole B-Z). Meg Williams was with the MusicNSW team in a variety of roles for close to 6 years, and will be sorely missed. We wish Meg all the best.
Stepping into the Project Manager role is Chris Zajko, who has recently been working alongside Meg Williams in the Project Coordinator position. We are very pleased to offer Chris the opportunity tofurther his excellent work with the Indent project. Chris has been involved in many aspects of the music and media industries over the last few years, including presenting and producing on FBi Radio and as Marketing Manager atMAPS Entertainment for Changing Lanes festival.
