Tone may be closing down, but another fantastic Sydney music venue is just about to open. Overlooking the city’s creative hub, Bourke Street’s iconic Kinselas has been host to some of the most legendary artists and performances, including Beastie Boys, The Lemonheads and Public Enemy.
Level 3 of the building has been left dusty for the past 15 years, but now this New York style warehouse space has been transformed into The Standard-a premier mid-sized all purpose performance art space. On any given night The Standard will host an eclectic mix of live music, theatre, comedy, burlesque and art exhibitions.
To celebrate, The Standard will be treating guests to a special once-off performance by
Pajama Club featuring Neil and Sharon Finn, at the official Standard industry launch night Tuesday September 13.
Fans can go into the draw to win tickets to this exclusive performance by simply ‘liking’ facebook.com/thestandardsydney.
