POP ART FILM & MUSIC
Friday 10 June In partnership with Sydney Film Festival, this special event will screen the Australian premiere of Alex Munt’s pop art film: LBF followed by a night of free live bands featured in the film. Tickets for the screening available from www.sff.org.au
DEBATE: IS SYDNEY PRICING CREATIVITY OUT OF THE PICTURE?
Saturday 11 June Examine the challenges facing filmmakers, musicians, artists, designers, architects and digital producers in trying to launch and run innovative projects in Sydney, and meet people finding creative solutions.
PANEL: HOW DOES ART HELP? BUILDING CREATIVE CITIES AROUND THE WORLD
Saturday 11 June Explore the positive potential for art and culture to engage people and transform our cities, with Dieter Gorny from the European Centre for the Creative Economy, Katja Aßmann from the European Capital of Culture (Ruhr 2010) and artists directing ground-breaking projects across Europe and Asia.
