The ‘music bound quick response travel fund’ helps Indigenous music coordinators attend professional development opportunities in Australia.
The program supports Indigenous arts workers to have greater access to industry development opportunities.
The Indigenous ‘quick response’ fund allows:
- greater access to professional development at music industry trade fairs and festivals
- increased networking opportunities (to funders and other sponsors)
- more profile for Indigenous music coordinators, artists and their art in the music industry
- better contact between industry organisations, Indigenous artists and audiences.
Amount
$1,000 maximum per application. A fixed budget is available each year.
This fund provides travel assistance – return economy fare for travel by air or train. Booking of the travel is the responsibility of the applicant and not the Australia Council. All other expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
Retrospective funding requests are not eligible.
