Ngaratya could be described as Missy Higgins meets Aretha Franklin, classic Australian roots/folk with loads of soul. Ngaratya is comprised of 18 and 17 yr old sisters Alicia and Emily Johnson whose individual folk/ roots / soul sound has been wowing both Indigenous and non-indigenous audiences across Sydney for the past two years. Ngaratya have cut there teeth playing community gigs in Sydney’s Redfern and have been progressively growing artistically and professionally which has culminated in the production of there Debut EP ‘Together’.
