Sydney has been selected by FIFA as one of six official cities to host an International FIFA Fan Fest™ during the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
The Sydney International FIFA Fan Fest™ will operate 11 June to 12 July, 2010. Performance dates and times will be based on artist level of interest and availability. Artists could be contracted for a long term or as a “special appearance” once or twice over the duration of the Event.
Performance locations include the main stage in Darling Harbour and/or various locations throughout Cockle Bay and Tumbalong Park. The Event will provide a basic backline and audio assistance including 1 x Drum Kit with snare and cymbals, 1 x weighted keys with pedal, stand and stool, 2 x guitar amp, 1 x bass amp. Details will be discussed with qualifying respondents.
This is an opportunity for qualifying respondents to perform at the Sydney International FIFA Fan Fest™ The Event provides a platform to expose artists to a wide ranging public audience.

All performances will be subject to Artists / Performers or their appointed agencies entering into a standard performer agreement which will be provided by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, Community Engagement and Events Division.
All Artists / Performers and/or agencies will be required to hold appropriate insurances, including public liability and (where appropriate) Worker’s Compensation Insurance in relation to their provision of the performance(s).
The NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, Community Engagement and Events Division holds appropriate insurance in relation to delivery of the Event.
