Pubs across NSW are on the look-out for the next big thing in live music with nominations for the $15,000 Rockin’ the Puburbs competition now open.
Many of Australia biggest acts got their start playing at their local hotel and the goal of Rockin’ the Puburbs is to find new talent and help them establish themselves in the industry.
The winner picks up a $15,000 prize package courtesy of AHA NSW which includes live gigs at pubs across NSW in 2018/2019, a dedicated tour publicist and mentoring sessions with industry experts.
The winning act will also perform at a VIP function for the NSW Parliamentary Friends of Music.
Entries close on 22 August, 2018 and all acts will be judged by an industry panel. The winner will be announced 24 September 2018.
