City of Sydney’s Round 1 grant applications are open as of Wednesday 24 February.
Round 1 will include, among others, the following grant categories:
- Cultural and Creative Grants - Offering up to $50k for projects and initiatives that provide opportunities for creative participation, enhance creativity in the public domain and strengthen the sustainability and capacity of our cultural and creative industries
- Festivals and Events Sponsorship (Artform/Village and community) - Offering up to $30k to support festivals and events that celebrate, develop and engage the city’s communities
- Business Support Grant (Live Music and Performance) - Offering matched funding up to $20k to support capital expenditure investments to introduce or improve live entertainment
- Business Support Grant (Night time diversification) – Offering up to $30k matched cash funding to support businesses to trial new events, activities and initiatives at night
