FUNDING Venues to Host Live Australian Music
This morning the Federal Government announced guidelines for Live Music Australia funding – grants of up to $100,000 are now available for small to medium venues to program and present Australian music.
Support will be provided for projects that upgrade venue equipment or infrastructure, increase or diversify programming, build capacity of staff, create venues that are safe and inclusive, or promote live music events. For more information, click below.
RISE FUND
Further to venues funding, the Australian Government has also announced the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund. This fund will make available grants of between $75,000 and $2 million for cultural and creative events and activities including:
- Cultural and creative programming and promotion
- Festivals
- Purchasing/leasing essential equipment for events
- Development of COVID-safe protocols
- Community outreach activities
