Campbelltown has a new school of rock! Campbelltown Arts Centre resident artist and local percussionist Bree van Reyk has launched her own school of rock across various high schools in Campbelltown, teaching high school girls how to rock and roll and encouraging them to pursue their passion for making music.
The project is called Massive Band, and last Saturday it saw 70 women of all ages play a 25-minute set at the arts centre.
