The Sydney Fringe Festival is launching on Saturday 5 September between 3pm-7pm in Erskineville. APRA AMCOS and the Live Music Office have teamed up to present the launch which is called FRINGE IGNITE: Heat the Street Erskineville.
The launch will see an afternoon of free live music and performances and the transformation of shop fronts, venues, cafes, restaurants on Erskineville Road.
The event is curated by APRA AMCOS ambassador and Thirsty Merc front man Rai Thistlethwayte and will feature live performances from acts such as Morgan Evans, Tina Harrod, Betty & Oswald, Woodes and Phil Stack.
Fringe IGNITE is a co-initiative of the Sydney Fringe Festival, Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, and supported by the City of Sydney. The aim of IGNITE is to encourage businesses and venues to host live music within the community regularly. For more info head here. See you there!
