Applications for Youth Rock are closing on March 20! Youth Rock is a state-wide talent search band competition held during Youth Week in Sutherland, with past winners including Silverchair, Alex Lloyd and 2009 Australian Idol runner up Hayley Warner.
Youth Rock provides an opportunity for high school students to create and perform music, showcasing student bands to the music industry. The competition is judged by music and recording industry representatives. The music and recording industry also provides more than $10,000 worth of prizes to the finalists.
