The Wingham Akoostik Festival Backstage Workshop - MusicNSW

Are you a young aspiring musician? Have you ever wondered how to write the perfect pop song?

Indent and the Wingham Akoostik Music Festival have partnered to present a masterclass for emerging songwriters – a one-on-one session with two of Australia’s most talented songwriters and performers.

If you are aged between 16 – 25, you have the chance to selected as one of only 20 people selected to write and perform three original songs devised with songwriters Dan Mac (Art Vs Science) and Thom Rawle (Papa Vs Pretty) at an exclusive workshop held in Wingham, Taree on 17 October 17.

With successful music careers spanning over a decade, both Dan and Thom’s bands have placed high rotation singles on Triple J, and played to thousands of people at festivals throughout Australia.

Successful applicants will not only have the opportunity to write an original tune with both Dan and Thom, but also to perform 3 songs with them live at the Wingham Akoostik Festival that night.

So if you want to compose a tune with two of Austraila’s most talented songwriters, and then perform with them live onstage at the Wingham Akoostik Festival, don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity!
