Ahead of this year’s regional Indent Tour, Indent is hitting the road to host a series of event management workshops this August.
In the towns that will be hosting the 2014 Indent Tour later in the year, Indent will be working with teams of young people, putting them in the driver’s seat and providing them with the skills they need to stage their own music events from start to finish – everything from booking bands and promotion to production, logistics and budgets.
The Indent Tour is the only all ages, regional tour of NSW that trains young people to stage their own safe, drug and alcohol free music events. The tour works with some of Australia’s best artists to forge regional touring networks, invest in regional infrastructure and develop the skills of young people around the state.
2014 Indent Pre-tour Workshop Dates:
Monday 11 August – Musitopia, Cessnock
Tuesday 12 August – Yass Valley Council Chambers, Yass
Wednesday 13 August – Kiama Youth Centre, Kiama
Tuesday 19 August – Grafton TAFE, Grafton
Wednesday 20 August – Nambucca Youthie, Nambucca Heads
