8-10pm Mondays: Singer-songwriter Emma Swift presents Revelator, a show dedicated to folk, alt-country, Americana, roots, rockabilly and folk rock.
8-10pm Tuesdays: Melbourne music fanatic Tim Shiel presents the eclectic Something More show.
8-10pm Wednesdays: Long-time broadcaster Karen Leng has previously hosted a show on 3RRR, was a triple j host in the 90s and held a pivotal role on ABC TV’s Recovery. Covering post rock, punk & pop, ambient and acoustic sounds, she shares her vast music knowledge on The Beat Eclectic.
8-10pm Thursdays: From August Double J broadcasts one of triple j’s most popular and revered programs, The J Files.
9am–12pm Saturdays: Champion of Australian music and triple j fave, Caz Tran plays new music, plus some of the best interviews and live music recordings from the triple j archives.
6–8pm Saturdays: Melbourne soul act The Bamboos’ Lance Ferguson joins the dots between indie, hip hop, soul and pop, as he presents Sky High to soundtrack Saturday nights.
3–5pm Sundays: Robert Forster (The Go-Betweens) kicks off the Artist In Residence series this Sunday, followed by The Cat Empire, Adalita & Kevin Mitchell, Henry Rollins and Iggy Pop.
Robert Forster says, “I like the idea of programming two hours of radio on a Sunday afternoon. I like the free hand I have in choosing the music I can play. And I like that a station exists to play adventurous music, a lot of it made by Australian artists, deserving to be heard by as many people as possible”.
