The 9th Australian Music Prize has been awarded to the duo Big Scary for their record No Art, walking away with $30,000, courtesy of PPCA.
The AMP shortlist this year included Kirin J Callinan, Beaches, Jagwar Ma, Jen Cloher and MC Dialectrix.
The judging panel featured a mix of music industry experts including Hoodoo Gurus’ Dave Faulkner, Renee Geyer, and Chris Johnston (The Age).
