Sydney’s inner-west venue Persham Bowling Club have announced they have made a profit for the first time since replacing their pokies with live music.
In 2007 the local community took over the bowling club after it was revealed that it was at risk of being replaced with properties. Since, the community-focused venue is going from “strength to strength”, having announced through social media that they are “well on the way to being debt free.”
