The application for the Annual National Musicoz Awards Program is now open! This program strives to give recognition to independent and unsigned Australian bands. This gives the artist national exposure through the showing of the awards on national Television.
Along with the national exposure, the finalist and winners will receive support, mentoring and artist development through the year. This includes songwriting feedback, artist product development, professional consultation on image, an advice on topics ranging from publicity to venue bookers.
These awards have covered 18 genres with over 500 entries each year and have had many success stories. Some of these success stories include Procelain who is signed to Universal Music U.S., Blue King Brown who reached No 1 on the Australian Independent charts and The Jezabels just to name a few.
Bands may upload up to six songs per category and as many categories as the artist would like. These songs come with a $30 fee per song and the 6th song free if done over the internet. The awards will be held on 7 November 2013 and entries close 31 July 2013.
This is the only opportunity across Australia that allows artists from all genres to get recognition, mentorships from industry sponsors and this type of support and benefits.
