The Australia Council for the Arts is currently accepting applications for their Contemporary Music Touring Program (CMTP) which provides funding for national touring activity by Australian music artists who perform original contemporary music.
Successful applicants can receive up to $15,000 in travel support for bands and their managers.
Tours to remote or very remote areas will be given high priority for the CMTP grant, and additional funding for such tours is available as part of the Touring Remote Australia (TRAX) component of the CMTP. Additionally, only tours comprising performances in at least three venues will be considered for the CMTP.
