MusicNSW Offers Quick Response Grants for the Electronic Music Conference - MusicNSW

Asia-Pacific’s inaugural Electronic Music Conference (EMC) have announced that applications are now open to Australian DJs and producers wishing to present their work at EMC’s Emerging Artists Showcase, which will take place on Tuesday 27th November.

MusicNSW is pleased to announce we will be supporting EMC 2012 by offering Quick Response Grants, which provide financial assistance for artists and managers attending the Electronic Music Conference.

MusicNSW’s Executive Officer, Kirsty Brown, stated “The MusicNSW Quick Response Grant program will assist NSW artists and managers to attend the Electronic Music Conference, where they can take advantage of opportunities to create new and exciting career-defining pathways and professional development avenues, which might otherwise be cost prohibitive.”

MusicNSW 2012 Quick Response Grant submissions can only be made by artists (and/ or their managers) based in NSW (i.e. must have a registered business name and/or mailing address in NSW). All applicants must be Australian citizens or have permanent residence status in Australia.

Applications OPEN Thursday November 1st, and will close at midnight, Monday November 19th.

The Emerging Artists Showcase gives Australia’s emerging artists the chance to present their talents to some of the most influential names in the industry, including representatives from Modular, EMI, Warner Music, Sony, Totem Onelove, ARIA, Future Entertainment, Stereosonic, Fuzzy, Ultra and Live Nation.

The Emerging Artists Showcase is free for all EMC Delegates. To register, email hello@electronicmusicconference.com with a short biography, contact details and link to your music online. Submissions close Friday November 2.
