Indent is pleased to announce that Sydney’s jungle-pop quintet Jinja Safari will feature in a series of free “In Conversation With Jinja Safari” Q & A workshops in conjunction with headlining the 2012 Indent regional tour. Since winning triple j’s Unearthed competition in 2010, Jinja Safari have shared the stage with prolific acts such as Miami Horror, Boy and Bear and Art vs Science. Having just wrapped up rocking out at Splendour In The Grass and playing packed out shows across the globe, Jinja Safari now return to Australia to share their wealth of knowledge, tips and stories with aspiring young musicians and emerging music industry enthusiasts in six regional areas across NSW.
Presented by Indent and APRA, the free Q & A workshops will take place just before doors open at each gig on the Indent tour, with an APRA representative also available to answers any questions regarding their services, royalty payments and songwriting.
Both the Indent Tour and “In Conversation With Jinja Safari” sessions will be hitting the road through November and December. Catch them at Byron Bay, Kyogle, Coffs Harbour, Armidale, Inverell and Gosford.
