Virgin Australia has made move to side with the music industry recently, by becoming an airline partner for the Australian Independent Record Labels Association for the 7th Jaegermeister Independent Music Awards.
AIR General Manager Nick O’Byrne told The Music Network: “Virgin has been doing a lot of things with the music industry, and we are hoping this is the start of more involvement with the independent sector. Obviously they see much value in the music industry and the audience that its music reaches.”
The award show will be held on October 16 in Melbourne at the Revolt Arts Space in Kensington. The acts will be announced soon.
