APRA and The Australian Guild of Screen Composers have teamed up once again this year to bring us the 2012 Screen Music Awards, to be held in Melbourne on Monday 19 November.
The awards recognise and acknowledge outstanding excellence and innovation within the field of screen composition, honouring composers from over 12 categories including documentaries, short films, mini-series, children’s television and feature film scores. Four nominees from across 10 categories will be selected by a panel of highly respected Australian film and television composers.
APRA and AGSC are calling for submissions for the 2012 Music Awards. Submissions close Monday August 6.
