Widely considered to be one of the best and most relevant music conferences in Australia, BIGSOUND 2012 kicks off on 12-14th September and has officially announced its first round of guest speakers.
Australian indie artist Ben Lee will be delivering the keynote, talking about his creative processes with only the wisdom one with eight solo albums under their belt can. ARIA winner David Bridie will also be a speaker at Brisbane’s conference this year, bringing to the panels his invaluable experience as an innovative musician, songwriter, musicologist and producer.
Founding member of ARIA Club Chart, Mark Poston has over two decades experience in the music industry. He has managed his own record stores, record labels, and soon became the head of Captiol Records by the time he was 30. Now Poston is the Chairman & Senior Vice President Marketing, Australasia for EMI.
