The 13th annual Message Sticks festival will be kicking off 27 March-1 April at the iconic Sydney Opera House, celebrating some of the countries finest Aboriginal and Torres Strait artists. This year, the multi arts festival incorporates song, dance, film, discussion and art, fusing contemporary and traditional cultural art forms. The impressive and diverse lineup will showcase a variety of emerging and established performers and collaborators.
Thanks to the incredible artistic direction of Rhoda Roberts. this year’s Message Sticks will feature some of the countries leading Indigenous leading artists and personalities such as Casey Donovan, Ernie Dingo, Archie Roach, Shane Howard, Dan Sultan, Tim Rogers, Black Arm Band, and Neil Murray. There will also be a series of discussions and talks by personalities such as George Negus, John Pilger, Gary Foley, Margaret and David, and Mitch Torres.
