MUSIC INDUSTRY 101 FREE WORKSHOPS IN WOLLONGONG - MusicNSW

MusicNSW have developed a series of workshops to educate and support musicians. Their first workshop in the series is called ‘MUSIC INDUSTRY 101’ and gives emerging artists, as well as Artist Managers, budding promoters, or anyone interested in the music industry the tools they need to start off in the music biz!

MusicNSW is a not for profit organisation that provides opportunities, support and education to all artists, at whatever stage of their career. Until now they have been primarily based in Sydney, but are hoping to expand our reach to all aspiring musicians in NSW. These workshops give musicians an opportunity to network with other like-minded artists in the local area, as well as ask questions of MusicNSW, and pick up a resource bag full of helpful goodies!

When: 19th Oct @ 5pm Where: Wollongong Central Library How Much? FREE!

The workshop will aim to cover all aspects of the Industry, such as how musicians can utilize support organisations, like APRA and MusicNSW, how to book gigs and tours, different types of deals and contracts, and all the ways you can promote your band.
