The Australian Government’s Office for the Arts’s Round 22 of the Contemporary Music Touring Program is now open for tours starting from 1 July 2012. Applications close at 5pm on 2 December 2011.The Contemporary Music Touring Program provides funding support for contemporary music touring activities.
Regional and remote touring is a priority and may include the movement of artists to, from or around regional Australia.
The round will be open for six weeks, closing on Friday 2 December 2011. No late applications will be accepted.
Round 22 is the first to be assessed by the contemporary music subpanel of the newly-formed Regional and Touring Arts Programs Expert Assessment Panel.
The Expert Assessment Panel also includes a visual art and cultural heritage subpanel, and a performing arts subpanel. They will assess applications made under Playing Australia, Visions of Australia and the Contemporary Touring Initiative.
