Arts Northern Rivers is holding a networking night on Monday FEBRUARY 28, 2011, at the Buddha Bar in Byron Bay, from 6pm – 8pm.
Chris O’Neil from APRA will be attending this time around (his flood-affected office has been cleaned up!) to do a presentation covering -:
– APRA / AMCOS
– Where they get their money
– How they distribute money to members
– Royalties
– Copyright law
– Songwriting agreements
A must for any musician and interested industry party.
They’ll also be outlining opportunities for local musicians to play the Buddha Bar beer garden one designated night a month.
Once again, the Buddha Bar will be putting on a $10 pizza/beer deal, so RSVP is essential.
