The Ian Potter Cultural Trust seeks to encourage the diversity and excellence of emerging artists in Australia. The Trust makes grants of up to $7,000 to early career artists practising in a wide range of disciplines within the arts, including the performing and visual arts, crafts, music, the media, literature, design, community arts and other areas.
The Trust does not currently have an application form. Instead, applicants are asked to complete the requirements detailed in the Submitting an Application here.
Applications are accepted throughout the year but are only considered at the three meetings of the Board of Trustees.
In order for requests to be considered, they must be received by 5pm on the specified closing date. Late applications may be held over for consideration at the next meeting.
What you can apply for is pretty broad but it is project based, so read the guidelines carefully and you might be able to fit the fund into your next couple of months planning.
Deadline for this is February first, so if you need help with the application give MusicNSW a call on 02 9699 9706.
