1. What was the first band you saw live?
Michael Jackson at the Sydney cricket ground in 1996. It was amazing.
2. What’d you learn from them?
Not a whole lot as I was about 11, but I was soooo soooo obsessed with M J, and I think he was my first real influence, directing me towards wanting to be a musician.
3. Got any pre-gig rituals?
Not getting to the venue on time, especially in Brisbane! It seems to be a curse of ours up there.
4. What do you think the most important issue effecting aritsts in NSW is today?
I believe the possible non-existence of FBI is our biggest concern. Without it we would be in a dire situation; they are so supportive of the local music scene, without them a lot of artists would have a hard time getting any airplay.
5. If you weren’t a musician what do you reckon you’d be doing?
I reckon I would be cheffing, I look to cook. Second passion…
