In 2007 the Inside Film Awards introduced a new category to further recognise and support emerging filmmakers within Australia, the 3 IF Award for Best Music Video. Open to any music video by an Australian artist that was directed by an Australian, the 3 IF Award for Best Music Video is publicly rated and open to music videos that have screened on Australian free to air or cable television or within an IF Accredited Film Festival. In order to be eligible, the song must have been released between the 1st of July 2007 and the close of scoring in 2008 (mid-September.)
To submit your music video, email musicvideo@if.com.au with the name of the song, the name of the artist, the name of the director, a still from the film and details on how the music video has been screened in order to make it eligible (ie dates of screening on air and the program etc.)
