Surmounting economic and social difficulties, Berlin has managed to transform itself into the cultural hub of central Europe. What is the basis for Berlin’s sustained urban and cultural development? Why does Berlin attract creative minds and talents like never before? What lessons can be learned from Berlin since German unification in 1990? Can any of those models be transferred to Sydney?

Amrita Cheema, SBS presenter and journalist, Deutsche Welle TV anchor and former Berlin resident.
Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP will introduce Adrienne Goehler and the MC will be James O’Loghlin, 702 ABC radio evening show presenter and host of the ABC-TV ‘The New Inventors’ show.
