Indent, the peak all-ages network in NSW is set to stage its most comprehensive event management and music business skills workshop tour to date. Covering a total of
3661.16 kilometres of open road, stretching over 20 regional centres from Albury to Byron Bay and across NSW through out August and September.
The Save the Scene workshops and forums are free admission and will be open to active and past Indent event committees, young event organisers , emerging bands and artists across NSW, offering young people the unique opportunity to network, engage in discussion and access the expertise and experience of some of Australias leading music industry professionals. (Big Day Out, Homebake, Peats Ridge Festivals).
“Indent is a project set up to give young people the opportunity to create their own drug & alcohol free live music entertainment, says Greg Carey – Indent Project Manager “It is essential for us to get out on the road and engage with the communities we fund. This tour will also see us visit towns that weve never been able to make in the past, so we are very excited about that.”
As well as the workshops, Indent will be holding information sessions (as marked over page) that are specifically designed for young people and members working in the youth sector who are interested in finding out about funding, resources and support for all ages events.
A dynamic Save The Scene tour blog with information, interviews and photos will be updated daily on the Indent website.
