The Whichway Industry workshops held at the Redfern Community Centre have just been completed. The workshops were attended by 20 artists from Sydney and Regional NSW areas. The workshops went for 3 1/2 days and covered areas such as music management, grant information venue and record label information. The Song writing workshops were a great success.
Emma Donovan and Radical Son launched their Whichway Tour (which will head up the East Coast through June to late August) at the Carriage Works on Thursday the 21st in intimate Acoustic mode – Emma surprised all with the use of a Cello player and a Spanish Guitar player. The venue was excellent and both Emma and radical put in powerful emotive performances. Both Emma and Rad have also been in recording a piece on JTV as well as Emma recording the Midnight Oil song Deadheart for JJJ’s ‘Like a Version’.
On the studio front Wire MC is finally going into the studio to record his debut 7 track EP with producer Tony Buchen – should be well worth the wait.
