Commencing August 2007, Indent, the peak all-ages network in NSW will stage
a series of forums across the state focused on event management and music business skills. The forums will be open to active and past Indent event groups, young event organisers and emerging bands and artists across NSW.
The forums will offer young people the unique opportunity to network, engage in discussion and access the expertise and experience of some of Australia’s leading music industry professionals.
Forum topics will be specifically tailored to the differing needs of each region.
Indent will also hold info sessions (as marked below) in some target regions where there is currently no Indent presence. These sessions have been specifically designed for young people, those working in the youth sector and related organisations to find out more about Indent funding, support and resource opportunities.
The tour has been planned to run in conjunction with the opening of the 2008 Indent Partnership Grants, enabling young people the chance to kick-start all ages music events in their region.
