MusicNSW the service organisation for the NSW Music Industry has launched VROOM (The Resource of Original Music). VROOM is the one stop essential resource for touring NSW. Â
VROOM is the brain-child of singer-songwriter Tracy Redhead who came to MusicNSW with the concept of developing an on line venue touring database, after spending many years touring the country, feeling that venue information being accessible for free would greatly help artists and venues alike. 3 years later with support from APRA/AMCOS, MusicNSW, TAFENSW and industry personnel on the VROOM subcommittee, Tracy is realising her vision.
From small things big things grow, today VROOM is an extensive database, an invaluable free resource for musicians, venues, and the music industry. In just two weeks, VROOM has more than 200 new artist members and new venues are joining too! MusicNSW hopes that VROOM will re-invigorate the live music industry throughout NSW and soon nationally.
